Tonight - Dan Meyer and His Vision for Math Reform, Live in Elluminate

Join LearnCentral's Math 2.0 Interest Group Wednesday for a live and interactive online event where Dan Meyer will talk about his vision for math reform. WCYDWT - What Can You Do With This - is a design method for creating powerful, technologically supported and rich problem-solving experiences in math classrooms. .

Dan Meyer taught high school mathematics from 2004 to 2010 and currently sudies at Stanford University on a doctoral fellowship. His professional interests are curriculum design and teacher education. His personal interests are graphic design, filmmaking, and infographics.   1. I hate to miss this but I have to! I just watched a great video of D/Y Dan giving an inservice talk at his old high school in Ukiah. It was funny, compelling, and really really smart. Through Teachers Teaching Teachers I was introduced to a HS kid named Michael Greenberg who is brilliant at infographics.
