WEDNESDAY'S SHOWS (July 1):

• 10:00 AM - The Connected Classroom Episode #8 - "Preparing For Next Year" with host Rusty May, School Counselor & Creator of SchoolToolsTv.com (Portugal). 
  It looks like the hybrid classroom is going to be the model for the fall. Join Rusty for a conversation with Jim Scribner, Superintendent of Capay School District in California,  to get a better idea of what administrators around the country are thinking and preparing for this fall.
  
  
• 2:00 PM - Exceptional Circumstances for Exceptional Learners Episode #2 - "The IMPACT of COVID-19 Recovery Plans on our Students and Teachers" with host Rebecca Muller, Special Educator and Advocate, Collingswood High School (USA).
  Guidelines for returning to school have been posted. Rebecca will discuss the American Pediatrics Association recommendations and is looking for others to join in on how their districts are responding. Has your country already returned? What has it been like? What are the questions in the surveys being sent? What is the buzz in your community? In the US, it has been stated that is up to districts to decide what is best for their communities. Are parents getting a voice? Are special education students being considered in the return-to-school guidelines. Let’s discuss the pros, cons, and questions you have when considering returning to school and the special education population. 
  
  
• 4:00 PM - Thrive in EDU Episode #2 - "Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Education and the Future"  with host Rachelle Dene Poth (USA).
  Join in this week to hear from educators from different backgrounds and how they are working with AI. Walk away with resources for teaching students about AI and a better understanding of the benefits and ethical considerations of AI for education. The session will focus on Artificial Intelligence and also on how to bring inclusivity and diverse perspectives into AI design. The topics to be discussed will include common recent trends and research on the use of AI in classrooms and the future of learning, resources available to educators, and everyday uses of AI. Let's talk about the future of education and how to thrive! Special guests are David Lockett and Denise C. Wright, STEM Teachers.
  
  

THURSDAY'S SHOW (July 2):

• 4:00 PM - REINVENTING.SCHOOL Episode #9 - "Faith and Charity" with host Howard Blumenthal (USA) 
  Join Howard with his usual mix of expert and student voices as he discusses the roles of faith and charity in learning this week.

Our first "Books Change Lives" reading group starts Monday, July 13th: Reading Globally, Thinking Reflectively, Acting Locally. Host Gregory S. starts a global reading group with weekly live Zoom meetings. On the reading list: Smartest Kids in the World, I Am Malala, Finnish Lessons 2.0, and Little Soldiers.
