I realize you posted quite a while ago, but am curious if he mentioned what kinds of tools teachers and students are using for web based publishing.

Certainly blogs and wikis are being used, but are there any WYSIWYG webpage publishing tools? Desktop or webased.

You asked, "... is Jim as proactive an administrator as I think?" The answer is yes. I've known Jim for a few years, and have been in several conferences, committees, panels, etc. with him. He's a forward thinker, with a solid outlook, and that's a great combination. Thanks for a great interview.
